WisBusiness: MEC Outdoors: Seeded 10th in the Top 16 Bracket of The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest

 

MEC Outdoors, of Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. (MEC) is pleased to announce they have been seeded 10th in the Top 16 bracket of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest. This annual contest hosted by the WMC (Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce) & Johnson Bank is a tribute to companies with products that are made in Wisconsin.

Nearly 152 products were nominated in the contest and thanks to the popular vote, the MEC 611XP Sporter Clay Target Machine has earned the 10th seed. The 611XP holds 600 standard targets and throwing distance up to 120 yards and tilts back to 70 degrees and left to right up to 40 degrees.

Now in its 6th year, the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest operates in a tournament-style bracket called Manufacturing Madness. The MEC 611XP Sporter Clay Target Machine is now going head-to-head with the other Top 16 products. Voting for the Top 16 will end on September 28 with the Top 8 being announced on September 29.
