Officials with the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) announced on Monday morning that voting for this year’s Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest is now open.
According to a release from the WMC, the contest is sponsored by Johnson Financial Group and is meant to showcase the manufacturers and the high-tech, high-skill, and high-pay career opportunities they provide throughout the state.
This year’s contest includes 130 products nominated throughout the state including six products from Green Bay, three from Appleton, and three from Neenah.
These products are said to range from multiple industries such as military and space, food and beverage, machinery and transportation, and more.
This year the popular vote will end on September 24 and the 16 most popular votes will then compete in “Manufacturing Madness,” a March Madness bracket-style tournament.
