Once again, Eastern Wisconsin is well represented on the nominations list for the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin competition.
A total of 23 products were nominated this year, including Manitowoc Grey Iron Foundry’s Lightweight Train Rerailer System.
Crescent Woolen Mills in Two Rivers was also nominated for the Buffalo Yarn for High-End Sporting Socks, while the Sheboygan Pasty Company and Wigwam, both out of Sheboygan, also had products nominated.
In what is little surprise to those who enjoy alcoholic seltzers, Carbliss out of Plymouth made the cut, as did Hi-Ho Soda’s Cranberry flavor, while Random Lake’s Jolly Good Soda is once again in the running, as is a product from Hankscraft.
Other companies with products on the list are Classic Gears and Machining in Denmark, Kestell Furniture out of New Holstein, and De Pere’s Infinity Machine & Engineering Corp, and Seroogy’s.
Six Green Bay companies made the cut, including Cheezecat, EDL Packaging, Fork Farms, Jasper Guitar Company, Liberty Comfort Quilt Corporation, and Medalcraft Mint Inc.
Sturgeon Bay’s Door County Candle Company was also nominated for their Ukraine Candle, which helped raise money for those affected by the war in Ukraine, while Appleton’s Dalla Terra Pasta, Quaker Bakery Brands, Inc., and U.S. Energy also made the list alongside Cloudy Skies Design out of Fond du Lac.
