Seehafer News: Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin Competition Returns for the 8th Year

Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group are teaming up once again for the 8th Annual Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin Competition.

Each year, the groups take nominations for products made in Wisconsin, then open it up to the public to vote on their favorites.

Of the seven previous winners, six of them have come from Eastern Wisconsin.

Harley Davidson, based out of Milwaukee, claimed the 2016 crown and was followed the next year by the Oshkosh Corporation.

Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe in De Pere completed a three-year sweep for our area in 2018.

Then, after Henry Repeating Arms in Rice Lake snapped that streak, Mul Technologies in Mequon brought the title back in 2020.

Manitowoc’s Broadwind Heavy Fabrications brought home the crown in 2021 with the big blue crane, and last year’s winner was Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton, giving eastern Wisconsin a second three-year run at the top.

The nomination period is now open.

You can nominate your favorite company for one of their products by visiting MadeInWis.com.
