The initial round of voting is now complete, and the top sixteen products in the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin competition have been revealed.

The Big Blue Crane made at Broadwind Heavy Fabrications in Manitowoc earned the #5 seed, the highest rank of the four area products to make it into the bracket portion of the competition.

Also advancing was a drinking glass with a propeller embedded into the side created by BenShot in Appleton, which earned the #6 seed.

That product is paired up against the #11 seed, Jolly Good Soda which is made in Random Lake.

The final product representing Eastern Wisconsin in the competition is an archery target produced in Sheboygan, which was ranked #15.
