La Crosse News 9: Kwik Trip Glazers a finalist in “Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin”

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – A Kwik Trip favorite is in the final four in the Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin competition.

More than 135,000 votes have been cast in the contest.

The popular donuts from La Crosse-based Kwik Trip are up against Caterpillar’s Cat Electric Rope Shovel, Mercury Marine’s V12 600hp Verado Outboard Engine, and Broadwind Heavy Fabrications 140 Ton Navy Crane.

Voting on the final four starts on Thursday at 9 a.m. and goes until Thursday, October 14 at noon at the Made In Wisconsin website.

According to information on the website, Kwik Trip’s bakery facilities in La Crosse produce more than two million donuts every week, or about 400 every minute.
