Green Bay Fox 11 News: Two Northeast Wisconsin products make top 4 in the ‘Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin’ contest

MADISON (WLUK) – The Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin have narrowed its list down to four and half are produced in our area.

The Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin contest is held annually to recognize manufacturing in the state.

Nearly 50,000 votes were cast online to choose the top 16 among a number of nominations.

After rounds of public online voting, the top four are:

  • Mercury Marine’s V12 600hp Verado Outboard Engine, Fond du Lac
  • Broadwind Heavy Fabrications’ 140 Ton Navy Crane, Manitowoc
  • Caterpillar Global Mining’s Cat Electric Rope Shovel, South Milwaukee
  • Kwik Trip’s Glazer Donuts, La Crosse

You can vote for your favorite online starting Thursday, Oct. 7 through Oct. 14 at noon.

The winner will be announced Oct. 14.
