Daily Dodge: Product Made In Dodge County A Finalist In ‘Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin’ Contest

Eight finalists have been named for the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest, including a product made in Dodge County. Over 130 products were initially nominated for the competition, which looks to highlight the state’s diverse manufacturing industry.

One of the eight finalists includes the John Deere X700 Signature Series tractors, manufactured in Horicon. According to the ‘Coolest Thing’ website, the flagship X739 model is equipped with both four-wheel steering and full-time four-wheel drive. The X739’s four-wheel steering can trim a 12-inch or larger diameter tree without repositioning the tractor and also makes mowing the inside turns of landscaping and flower beds more efficient.
