MADISON, Wis. — What is the coolest thing made in Wisconsin? An annual contest sponsored by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce and Johnson Financial Group aims to find out.
The seventh-annual competition is now underway. Each year, hundreds of nominations are submitted, and members of the public get to pick the winner.
“Some of our past winners include a rifle, a military vehicle, a motorcycle, a giant crane that was made in Manitowoc. It really is a diverse industry, we make so many different things, and I, for one, am excited to see what might be nominated this year and what is going to be named the coolest thing made in Wisconsin,” said Nick Novak, WMC’s vice president of marketing.
Nominations are being accepted until Sept. 9, with public voting occurring in the following weeks. For more information, click here.
