MADISON, WI (WTAQ) — Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce is looking for the coolest thing made in Wisconsin.
It’s the 6th annual iteration of the “Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” contest.
“We started off with Harley Davidson and their Milwaukee 8 engine, we had Oshkosh Corporation and their Joint Light Tactical Vehicle,” said WMC’s Nick Novak. “We’ve had a robotic cart. We’ve had food products.”
It’s all for bragging rights–the winner gets a trophy–but it’s also to highlight Wisconsin industry.
“We also want to showcase the people who make these really cool things,” Novak told WTAQ. “Wisconsin’s top industry is manufacturing.”
Nominations will be accepted through September 3rd. Voting will be held online next month and in October. The winner will be announced October 14th.
