Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce and Johnson Financial Group are again partnering for the ninth annual Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest. Each year, the competition highlights Wisconsin’s manufacturing industry, which contributes more than $71 billion in total economic output to the state.
This year, the contest organizers are refreshing the program with a new logo and rebranded website as a nod to the modernization of the manufacturing industry as a whole. The ninth annual contest will culminate by crowning a Wisconsin-made product as the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.
Belgium’s Cedar Valley Cheese’s string cheese made it into the final four last year.
MuL Technologies of Mequon won the contest in 2020 for its Marc, a mobile autonomous robotic cart with the brains to map a facility, avoid obstacles in its way and get things where they need to go.
