Seehafer News Wisconsin: Eastern Wisconsin Looks to Continue Success in 2022 Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest

The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest is back.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2022 iteration of the statewide contest to highlight Wisconsin-made products.

This year is the 7th year of the event, and Eastern Wisconsin has dominated thus far.

In 2016 Milwaukee’s Harley Davidson earned the title, which was followed by a win by the Oshkosh Corporation the next year, and De Pere’s Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe.

The 2019 and 2020 awards were given to companies outside of our area, but Manitowoc’s Broadwind Heavy Fabricators earned the title last year with the construction and shipping of the Big Blue Crane.

Any product that is manufactured in Wisconsin qualifies for the contest.

The first round of voting to narrow it down to the top 16 will begin on September 19th.
